Since the amount of fun someone can have with mods is very opinionated, please note that these are just my top ten favorite mods. Others may have a different opinion. Either way, I‘ll leave links to all of them so you can try it out for yourself! Also, keep in mind that I won’t be adding any utility mods here since those mods are basically additional mods you would have on top of these.

#10 Skinwalkers by RugbugRedfern
Lethal Progression is a mod that adds leveling and skill points to the game! Have you ever wanted to run faster? Or maybe you wish that spider did a little less damage? Well now that’s all possible by playing with this mod enabled! (Sorry, I just went all advertisement mode on you) I love to add this to any modpack I play.
The mod currently allows to upgrade these stats: Health Regeneration, Stamina, Battery Life, Hand Slots, Loot Value, and Oxogyn. This can be helpful in a multitude of ways, but one of the best ways it can be helpful would be to assign certain jobs to each of your friends so you can all focus on a different job and make the Company proud! Or if you’re alone, that’s okay too! It’s so easy to gain stat points! Killing enemies, collecting loot, and simply surviving planets will all give you points.

#9 More Company by notnotnotswipez
More Company is a mod that allows you to play with more than the original four players. Last I checked, you can play up to 32 players in total, though it’s recomended with 8. You also get some really cool and funny cosmetics that come along with this mod. You can wear a sign around your neck that sys “Out of Order.” Or maybe you’d rather wear a construction hat, you can do that too! Or maybe you really like cats, well, you can wear cat ears! And of course, the most important cosmetic, a silver watch. It just looks super nice!
As for my experiance with this mod, there’s not much to say. It’s defnitenly funny to be walking around an unknown planet with before seeing of my fellow employee wearing a clown hat while getting chassed by a Thumper. Being able to play with a bunch more players is awesome for my streams, but I get that sometimes, you might just want to chill and play with your small friend group. Luckily, they gave cosmetics to the players who were fine playing alone, and a very helpful feature to the players who want a little more spice!

#8 Needy Cats by Jordo
Needy Cats is a mod that simply adds stray cats to the game. Nothing special, they won’t attack you. They’re just very needy cats who need someone to take them home! Or in this case, to the company!
Imagine this, you’re walking through a factory on Rend. There’s nutcrackers, Ghost girl is haunting you, and you just heard a Jester cranking it’s just in the box. As you’re trying to run out of the place, you find yourself a cat!
It’s literally one of my favorite mods. They make noises, they look amazing despite their photo for their mod, and it’s just really fun in general. They’re also worth a lot of credits. If you’re looking for a fun and creative mod to add with really no drawbacks, this is a good mod to try.

#7 Freddy
Bracken by OrtonLongGaming
Freddy Bracken is a mod created by OrtonLongGaming that skins the regular Bracken with Freddy Fazbear instead, so all of your nestalgia and scary feelings from your memories of surviving all night can become a reality as you play an entirely different game!
In all seriousness, this mod is pretty amazing. The skin itself seems to have a really well-made model, and they even added sound effects from the game when you get caught by Freddy. It adds another layer of scary knowing that Freddy is talking around the factory and you don’t have metal doors this time around to block him out.
I enjoyed playing this mod with my friends, and we even did a challenge out of it! It was to see if we could survive until 12am (cause that’s when the ship takes off in Lethal Company). It just made things even more fun!

#6 Intro Company Speech Extended Remix By ASmolBoy
This mod is a little less serious and more goofy in the sense that the mini beat drop that plays at the end of the Company Intro on your first day on the job now has a full version. I know, not exactly a mod you’d think you’d see in a top ten, but still! It’s a pretty amazing mod and I love it!
The Remix sounds pretty fire, the continuation is clean, and the best part, if you don’t want to listen to it anymore, you can easily turn off the speaker in the game, or you can turn off the mod altogether! It’s the perfect mod if you’re looking to jam out, and get scared out of your mind as you land on an eclipsed planet with dogs right outside the ship!
My friends and I enjoyed gaming out to this on stream, and I would totally add this to another Mod pack just for fun. Maybe you want to use it to attract dogs to your ship, or maybe you just want to groove to an awesome beat, nonetheless, it’s there for you to play anytime!

#5 Lethal Progression by Stoneman
The Skinwalkers mod is a mod that copies the players voices in real time then plays them back at random times through out your session. It’s funny to be walking down hallways or mazes, than hear your teamates voice somewhere around you just to figure out that it was a bracken all along!
I have to say, this mod is extreamly fun. it just adds that extra feeling of “Buzz? Was that you?” That was a Toy Story reference by the way. I think the funist moments are when you know everyone is dead, but you can still hear everyone’s voices cause you’re surounded by monsters.
It might be simple, but it’s still extreamly funny to have in almost any modpack, or to just add to the vinila game! I can count on my hands how many times I’ve played without this mod on. It’s almost a necesity at this point!

#4 Brutal Company Plus by Nips
While there are a lot of mods that add random events to the gameplay of Lethal Company, I’m confident Brutal Company does it the best. What do these random events consist of? Well, let me tell you!
(I may get some of the event names wrong, so bear with me) Out of Box: Jesters Spawn outside the facility! Duck For Cover (Definitely not called that): The factory is littered with turets! Watch Your Step! (I don’t think that’s right): Mines are everywhere! There’s a bunch more too, and they just keep on adding more! There are over 20 as of now, but there might be 30 by the time you read this!
Playing this with my friends was hilarious. It was funny to see the random ways we would fail, or miraculously survive with just enough quota for the company. A turret would spawn in the ship, a dog inside the scrap house, Bracken’s spawning outside!? I also heard that there’s an event that only spawns Ghost Girls. You can also change all the settings to events, quota amounts, and much more.

#3 Herobrine by Kittenji
The Herobrine mod does exactly what you’d think it would do: adding Herobrine from Minecraft into the game. If you don’t know who Herobrine is, Herobrine is a Minecraft urban legend and creepypasta, originating from an anonymous post on the imageboard website 4chan in 2010. He is depicted as a version of the Minecraft character Steve, but with solid white eyes that lack pupils. (Yes, I took that from Google). He’s basically Steve with superpowers… and he’s evil!
He almost acts like Ghost Girl and Bracken in the sense of looking at him for too long will result in him using one of his many powers on you, and only haunts one player at a time. He can spawn fire, he can jump scare you with a vex, he can teleport you back to the ship, he can type in the chat ect. Everything you’ve heard from the urban legend coming true in Lethal Company!

#2 Lethal Resonace by LethalResonance
The Lethal Resonance mod is a sound mod that adds and changes over 470 sounds in the game. This ranges from the sound fo the PC booting up in the ship, the sound of doors opening and closing, the ambiance in the facilities, and so much more! If I tried to go over everything, it would be more than all the mods I’ve already talked about so far.
My experience with this mod was completely terrifying. I got scared just by a noise playing, so much so that I actually screamed. To be fair, I’m also quite the wimp, but I can still say confidently that if you download this mod, you will- at the least!- feel your heart beat faster. It makes those jumpscares that much scary.
If you’re looking for something to boost the scariness of the game, this is the way to do it. I can’t stress enough (That’s a lie, of course I can) how scary the sounds that they added were. In some cases, it even changed the music that plays on cetin planets! I didn’t get to try every single planet with this mod, but it’s a great addition to the vanilla game, or you can add it to a mod pack for even more fun. Just make sure if you add it to a modpack you don’t have any other ones that change the noises of the game. Otherwise, you may have some conflict.

#1 Control Company by Control Company
Last but not least in Control Company! This mod allows you to play as the monsters! Yes, I know it sounds simple, but think of the opportunities to scare your friends! The best part about this mod is that your friends don’t need to download it for it to work! Meaning you can easily trick your friends instead of just giving them a modpack with over 100 mods so they don’t notice it in there.
Playing this mod was extremely fun, my friend actually knew that I had it downloaded and we used it to get more loot throughout the factory! I also chased them down a couple of times as a loot bug, a slime, and a world eater as he tried to walk back to the ship. Oh, I also used a dog, because why not use the most terrifying monster that can spawn outside the ship to scare him?
There’s so many games you can play, scares you can do, and pranks you can pull with this mod. It made for lots of funny situations. The only way to fully understand is the download the mod and play it for yourself! Go try it out if you haven’t already by clicking the image or the link below!
